The uplift mostly works for those whose current salaries are not super high. Not everyone gets 25% uplift - if your current salary is very close to upper end of certain grade range, they won't be able to give you more, unless you agree to work as a contractor....

i am being offered Manager role at Grade 6 @45k and being told that’s the Manager level grade and not Grade 7 as mentioned in forum
