My degree was from the US. It went through the full attestation process back in 2019 when I joined a company in the UAE. In order to satisfy Saudi attestation requirements I just needed an updated UAE stamp. Once I got that I went to the Saudi embassy in Dubai and they gave me the stamp within 5 minutes. You being from Qatar, I would expect the process to be the same as long as you have a current Qatar stamp on the documents. If the embassy is not too far from where you reside, it's worth a try. From some of the stories I heard on this forum, the degree attestation can be very time consuming otherwise.

Hi, I have heard that the direct flights from Neom Bay Airport to Dubai are already in place for around SAR 3K return ticket. Would anyone of you know if there are any plans of having the current flight allowance (2 domestic flights a month) to be replaced for those interested to fly to Dubai regularly?

But the flight allowance will not be valid for Dubai. Only domestic. And today you can already go direct to Dubai from Tabuk. So in reality you save about 1.5-2 hrs going straight from NEOM instead, but downside is the flights will probably be very expensive.

I've looked at roles and have applied via the NEOM careers page.
Are there agencies I can contact who are sourcing / head hunting candidates? Did most people apply or get headhunted ?

Get yourself on LinkedIn for that - my husband gets messages every day from headhunters wanting him for NEOM. Lots of others have said LinkedIn too, so if you're on there and have skills they need, they'll contact you.

Great site for information. It may have been asked before, so apologies if it has, but looked through the forum and some of the questions dated back.
Has anyone recently moved into NC2, as I see questions being asked about NC2, but could not see any posts of people who have actually moved in recently and their experience?
How long after offer, does the total onboarding take before you actually out in NEOM?
What has been the challenges that you have had since you moved to NEOM and what would you do differently or take with you.

I'm on LinkedIn. My background is in BD, Startups, tourism and I spent 7 years at Airbnb, so a slightly different background to most procurement backgrounds. I've been connecting with current employees.
I have a wife and a 2 year old. Have any partners of employees been able to continue with their jobs after moving to Saudi with NEOM ?

Good question - would have thought Jeddah and Riyadh would be more appealing for your family than Tabuk given you get 2x domestic flights a month.
Does anyone know currently what the estimated wait time is for 1xbed or 2xbed as I am due to start on the project in Sept and also trying to work out how long after my family can follow?

If you apply directly on the website, I'd be surprised if you got an interview. I haven't heard from anyone who applied organically, and got into the pipeline, but I could be wrong.

My background is a mix of startups (7 years at Airbnb) with a focus on business development, partnerships & sales. I have in-depth knowledge of tourism and travel too. I think I could really add value on the BD side and in helping to share strategy around tourism and a startup ecosystem.

I also had to renew my UAE stamp before getting the Saudi stamp. I did it online at mofaic.gov, paid 150 AED for same day service (plus another 150 AED for the attestation), then Aramex comes takes my document and returned it to me 5 hours later. Went to Saudi embassy next day and received the stamp.
