NEOM

I have a job offer to work on the NEOM project but worried about boredom because of its remoteness.

Does anyone know what the camps are like?
can i use my sky subscription abroad?
how can i get my football fix?
is it really worth it?

Haven't moved over yet but from what I've seen on Instagram and through talking with current residents, the accommodation varies depending on which camp you're living in. From my understanding there is a base camp where families and I think females live and tehre seems to be a separate camp where "bachelors" or men without their families live. I've seen videos of a 1 bed cabin on base camp and it looks okay. Basic, clean, comfortable with tv, sofa, small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. I've also seen a video of a "studio" type cabin on the bachelor camp which reminded me of a university hall room. Bare. No kitchen but a kettle and basic bed, basic desk.
Don't know the answer to your other questions.

Haha. Definitely. A great movie. Watching a bewildered Tom Hanks negotiating KSA.

The best portrayal of how things are that I've seen.

Regarding football. I don't know about Sky, but I use a variety of apps for free, and then project from my phone to the TV. It's often Sky anyway. Sometimes you may have to find the correct live stream in English but it works fine.

Is it worth it? Absolutely. Can watch football all weekend.
