Hi all,

I currently live on the Sheik Zayed road - and the noise is driving me bonkers...lots of building work by me..I am really after a quiet place to live such at the greens or springs....so if you want a house mate who is house trained. Or know of anywhere would really appreciate your feedback. If its relevant I am English and 30.

Your best bet would be to drive around the areas you are interested in and write down the numbers you see on the for rent signs But if you are looking for a quiet place then the areas you listed are what I think you should go for

You prolly live on the lower floors in one of the towers on SZR and I can imagine that the noise of the traffic coupled with the noise from ongoing construction in enough to drive anyone batty. lol

Quieter areas would obviously be somewhere like Jumeirah 1,2 or 3 and perhaps Al Safa and Umm Suqeim 1, or 2.

Another alternative would be to live higher up in the towers and more importantly, not to over look the highway itself.
