Need help desperatly.
Hi all,
I have a few questions about moving into the Kingdom. 1.My partner has a lot of cat ornaments is it possible to have them delivered to Saudi via DHL or one of the many others. I have read in other places they are one of the many prohibited items. 2.Does any one have a useful link for me to look at so I can understand exactly how I need to pack and label all our belongings that are going to be sent on after we leave. 3.This one seems just too crazy to be true, both my partner and myself have no plans to have children is it possible to buy condoms in the Kingdom as I have just red a article that claims any one bringing them into Saudi will be arrested and put in prison for 6 months is this true. I am just hoping that one of you can help me as its now driving me nuts almost as nuts as trying too sort out my employment visa. |
Re: Need help desperatly.
You might wish to use the term "desperate" a bit more judiciously unless "cat ornaments" is a euphimism.
The term "partner" is a bit curious as well... |
Re: Need help desperatly.
Yeah cheers for the advice.
1. Cat ornaments are exactly what they are... 2. My partner is now my wife i copied and pasted this from the other 2 forums i joined before we were married. |

I hate the use of that term. I find myself saying it sometimes and I cringe the moment I say it. Just sounds gay.

Re: Need help desperatly.
Hi, bringing in cat ornaments should be no problem, assuming they aren't in compromising positions :) It's human statue type stuff they really don't like, plus buddhas, masks etc.
Yes, yo ucan condoms out here in all the supermarkets, pharmacies etc. Don't think there should be a problem with them being in your washbag either. Our boxes were labelled with a number and the room they came from ie. 1 Lounge, 2 bedroom etc. Your DVD's CDs and books might get taken away for checking, might not. Ours weren't. HTH N |
