Need Advice , Moving to Doha
Hi Guys my Hubby just got a job out in Doha and were heading over in November. As I have 2 kids 7 & 11, looking at a good place to bring up the kids , His Job is in West Bay and looking for something in the range of 25,000. Any suggestions as to where is good to live Any advice would be much appreciated

At 25k per month you can pretty much live anywhere you want. 1st priority is to find a school for the rugrats then find accommodation within a sensible commute as the traffic is awful.

That's a very generous allowance, take your pick really. Have a look online for rental accommodation in Doha, just to get a feel for locations. Do NOT sign up for anything - only do this in person once you are there. Prices will differ when face to face and at times, negotiable.
You may want to consider taking something cheaper and pocketing the difference, if that's possible.

Thank you 😃 I have been looking online constantly , just unsure of which areas are best with kids, and what's the best site for properties ?

Also can anyone give me info on home-schooling ? Heard the schools are a nightmare to get into and were all coming over together , may have to home school until a place becomes available

Just Google properties to rent in Doha - it's what I ddi a cope of years back, in the end, the job offer hit all sorts of complications so it didn't happen. I had a much lower budget than you though!
Can't remember the actual name of the site, but it gives you general feel of what you get for your money.
