Hi All
Not quite a British problem this but it is related.
A colleague of mine has been in Doha now for 4 months and is trying to sponsor his wife so that she can join the country. The problem is she is Russian and this seems to have caused lots of problems.
The latest update is that 2 weeks into Ramadan her paperwork was sent to the national securities council but there has been no reply from them and there seems to be no way to contact them for an update.
Does anyone have any similar experience of this or any advice as to how much longer this process may take?
If it is a 6 month job then my colleague needs to decide to go back home.
Any advice that can be offered is greatly appreciated.
