Music - illegal?

I have a very quick question...is it illegal to play your music loud in your car?

I was driving the other day and turned up the volume with a my window slightly down.....drove passed this copper on the side road who looked at me very dubiously!

I found a pdf via gulfnews that lists the 147 reasons that you can be fined, given points, have your car confiscated etc, it also tells you the amounts for each offence. My favourite is "using the horn in a disturbing way" which carries a fine of 100 dh. Does anyone know if this involves animals:eek:.

'Using your horn' on an animal is OK (in fact in some parts of upmarket Mirdif, it's compulsory) .......

.......... but sex on the beach with a human being of the opposite sex .......... well, you're just asking for trouble ............

Someone with a filthy mind could probably find some comment related to:
#88 #90 & #97

But seriously - #40 really cracks me up: "Driving a vehicle that causes pollution"
Uh oh.

Glad to see Dubai has its priorities right...........

"Driving a vehicle without number plates" is considered twice as serious as "Causing death of others"..........
