Default Muscat: Is this enough?

I have just been offered a job with one of Public agencies in Muscat (I am a Civil Engineer with 5+ years experience). They have offered me:

Base Salary: 2500 OR/Month
Accommodation + car + medical insurance + one free air travel/yr.

Is this enough? What else should I negotiate for?

I would appreciate your advice.

Thanks for the link. I checked it earlier though.

Found it useful but not exactly what I am looking for.

I am really sorry about that, and what are you exactly wanting as we certainly cannot tell from your post.........How long is a piece of string?

Let's not make it interesting as I am not interested in forum bashing you.

I am looking for someone with the same or similar background to post a comment. I want to check if I should negotiate the offer or just take it as it is offered. I have done some research and till now have been unsuccessful in finding what I want. I have checked previous posts, payscale.com and all other shit but have nit been able to find the exact answer. It may not exist but there is no harm in trying I guess. Is there?

Different question? Muscat: Is this on Par? How are we supposed to answer you from a question like that, please provide such information as single or married or living in, 10 kids, 3 cats and a mouse?Hobbies drink alcohol or not? What sort of standard of living are you hoping to get? Do you want to go out every night? please check the othet links and ask the right question and you will get the answer you hopefully want

By the way the quick answer is if you are coming on your own without kids and a house to keep at home (wherever that is) you should be ok but.........

Default Is this par? Over? Under

I should rephrase a little.

I have just been offered a job with one of Public agencies in Muscat (I am a Civil Engineer with 5+ years experience). They have offered me:

Base Salary: 2500 OR/Month
Accommodation + car + medical insurance + one free air travel/yr.

Is this par? What else should I negotiate for?

R u employed or unemployed? Which is your current salary is you are employed?

I guess that's the key issue... if you are unemployed you can't negotiate easily. If you are in the dole, it's a very good package. If you are working, probably not.
