Hi have a qatari RP and multi exit permit. on my last trip to the UK i just renewed my passport. Do i need to get the exit permit linked to my new passport or is this automatically done? if necessary, how is it done?

I think it's linked to your I.D card , i have a new passport and exited Doha on the old old one and entered with a new one and my E.Gate worked on the re-entry .

I presume you have E Gate , if not i'm not sure .

don't have e-gate but i guess i should get it. what is the procedure to get it and where do you go for it? if its linked to the id card then hopefully wont be an issue.

Don't think you can get it at the airport anymore , you have to go to the immigration at Al Garrafah .

You do a fingerprint and iris scan and the details are put onto your Qatari I.D card on the back where the bar code is situated . It's a Godsend to be honest , trouble free travel in and out of Doha .
