I did not mean to be rude. My first time doing a posting. And suddenly my post was on this 'thread'. The hell is a 'thread'? And then i saw like 20 views and no response, so i thought something is wrong and i post that second msg. Didn't know people get offended by it.

Really appreciate your response, mate. Need a lot of support from u guys. I heard saudi is really tough, so I rather have mates around than people who are bloody p!$$ed off with me.

Cheers.

that's only cause most of us are in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE...which means we can't give you any advice...still we view to see who the newbie is...

Just need to be careful on the net. Very easy to misinterpret what ppl are saying when they are not in front of you.

Saudi is hard, but as long as you make the mental adjustment life can be good. Its not the west, so dont expect it to be.

No Problem,
The best thing is to click on the search button at the top, select advanced search, select Middle East forum then search using the word "Saudi" or "Riyadh"

There is not a great deal of historical posts on Jeddah, but the posts you will find will give you some insight into life in KSA.

No need for the thanks.
Personally i would advise anyone against living in that country.
My previous posts will highlight as to why.

I could be offered £1,000 a day and would still not live there.

I can tolerate a few days...a week at a push, but anything longer makes me want to take my own life.

My advice would be to research research research...
