Hi

Im Moving to Dubai 21/10 and must say I have mixed feelings. I have been there many times since my hubby was offered a shore based job.

Done as much exploring as the heat permits, have all the relevant books but still cannot find any mother and toddler groups (Youngest is one).

I would really like to make contact with other mum's who may have time on their hands during the day.

We will be moving to Jumiera, Al Satwa areas as Im not drving but as I have had lessons Im told that I can learn very quickly over there (Less than a month) ? Is this so.

As Im getting all packed up I find myself packing all kinds of kitchen stuff that you feel sure you wont be able to get in Dubai, form simple things like food colouring and flavourings (Great baker is me)

If any one knows if these are sold over there, please let me know.

I am good FD. Been to see Malteser. Still not connected to the phone. I think she is very mad to Qtel at the moment. Been in new house for 1 mth now, and still no phone.

Btw... Malteser say 'hello' to everybody who knows her...
