When moving to UK, any advice on house hunting to rent in Sout-east London (apart from rightmove.co.uk). Is any other option to accomodate the family for a short period as the kids need to start school after the Easter break. We secured a place in school but can not find a house yet , so looking to another options like B&B etc. Thanks for any help.....

I used to live in Bromley... if you want any advice of specific areas (the nice bits and the war zones) then just PM me.

It might be worth putting this post in the "Moving back to UK" forum as well. Not sure of your position but if you are moving back to UK with your Company and they are large enough to have an Expat Support team you should contact them. A friend of ours was moved back to UK at Christmas as his project here was "put on hold" (what's new!). He had rented his house out in UK as the job was supposed to be long term so he needed to find somewhere for a couple of months. After a lot of heated discussions the Company organised a serviced place for them. Another website to try is www.findaproperty.com.
