Normally it takes a month to get iqama in the dark kingdom after arrival. Some good employers can sponser the whole family so they arrive together to their fate.

For Arabic classes etc - try a SEARCH.

Thanks for helping, everyone! Things took a weird turn......the school's head did a runner with 12mil sr and the school said they would not allow teachers' families to join them......they also refused to give my husband an exit visa for weeks. We are now safely living in Al Ain!
