The whole idea seems crazy to me. The kids are presumably settled at school in Scotland, maybe free of charge, and you have a social circle. What difference does it make if your hubby has to fly (say)12 hrs between UK and Africa as opposed to (say) 8-10 hrs between Dubai and Afroca. It's not worth the hastle.

Hey Mrs. Green!

Dubai is beautiful !! You would never regret moving to Dubai. Its a great place, with friendly people around. School and colleges shouldn't be a problem for your kids as there are many good schools, universities and colleges in Dubai

I moved here some years ago and I am enjoying every bit of it !! A little advice that I would like to give you : Moving and packing could be a hassle! And if you are planning to do it all by yourself then take utmost care of your documents and important papers (I had almost lost them )

<snip>

Do let me know, if i can be of any other help to you

Have you read any of the earlier posts? How can her kids go to school/college without sponsorshiop and how can the parents live in Dubai without residence visas? As for Dubai being beautiful, that is certainly not a description I would apply to this concrete jungle interspersed with deserts. Have you travelled much in your lifetime? I could name over twenty places much prettier than here...and that's just in the UK.
