Don't know where MMIs is, but the offie in the corner of the gold Abu Dhabi National Hotels building, behind the Airport Road Carrefour, near Zayed Sports City, is open during the day until about 6.

Spinneys are open as usual with the exception of Fridays where they are closed. If your paying via cash, normally no-one bats an eyelid.

not quite true they ask for licence a lot more than did in the past, so you may be lucky, but its not the point of having a licence, its transporting it home in ramadan that you need the licence, more likely to have accidents at this time of year.

The licence is free now and all done online, then delivered to the offie of your choosing so much easier than before when you had to trek to a police station or wherever with random documents.

yeh the place off 4th where there was no parking... they did have teething probs with the new online service but think thats all sorted now.

remember its not the problem of drinking with no licence so much its the transporting it and having an accident on the road, its the problem if you have issues with your maid etc and they have to come around and check that out, which of course doesnt happen very often, but it does happen.

need to sort a licence I know it is the safe option but normally im at the airport twice a month and if i need a big stash the Cuda is much cheaper.

Back in DXB and the liver is greatful i only saw these posts this morning.
