What's patsy is basically saying is never under estimate the power of an expat throwing a strop in hospital reception or a police station. Phone just won't do it here.

I know personally of one strop in a police station that resulted in a held and soon to be jailed expat walking out then and there.

Exactly!! You can't wait for the "official" people to be polite and go through the channels.
Somebody needs to come out here who knows Timmy, meet with a couple of oldtime 'expats' and tour all of the hospitals. Stupid question I know, but did he have any ID on him, maybe he was mugged and has no ID?

A friend of mine who is the Chief Nursing Officer at 1 of the local hospitals is sending messages to all of her counterparts in all the hospitals to see if they know anything.

I'm trying to find out if and when one of his family members is coming out now.
I don't think anyone knows whether timmy had any ID on him actually. It's another thing I need to investigate

if the lad ended up in another Emirate it's as good as being in another country, there'll be little cross communication

make sure they check hospitals in Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi ?

For sure he would have had his Navy I.D card on him. You need it to get into Port Rashid.

I'm sure the RTA can trace what taxi's picked up at Rockbottom's GPS location at around 2am on Sunday morning. Granted there are bound to be loads, but that is the key. Get the driver..get some more info.
