Mirdiff - new park?

Anyone have any idea about the location of the new park that is supposed to be opening very soon?

Its near the chip shop.
If you don't know where that is, then from uptown its left at the roundabout towards warqa, then the large right (15 or 9 street is it??) down the hill til you get to the mosque, right just before it, then the park is up on your left.

And if you find it from those directions I will be really surprised....

Quite pleasant except their swimming pools are segregated. Loads of picnic areas where you can eat right under the wheels of your parked car.

that's not bad...not as cultivated as say Jumeira Beach park...
it's quite big, and a bit more rough desert like looking....loads of play areas.
There is a pool but I have never been as my boys are too old to come with me because of the separate men/women thing...
