Mens suit tailor in abu dhabi?
Anyone know of one that can be trusted to produce something nice and not like something from Saturday Night Fever?

The 'tailor' round the corner from my house in Mushrif altered my jeans and repaired the pockets for me the other day and was extremely cheap! 5AED!!

In the UK tailors are thought of as being 'top end' service providers... elsewhere, India for example, there's a tailor on every corner, most probably of the sort you went to, whose daily bread is earned by small alterations. He could also put together a choli or a salvaar-kameez in next to no time and run up a new border on a sari while you wait, and his customer base is not the elite of society (your Saville Row comparison) but rather the common man. Does that make him less of a tailor than those on the Row?
