MEET FOR A QUIET MEAL/DRINK

Hi,
Thought it would be good for a group of us to meet this week for a meal/drink where we can actually hear ourselves. Still fairly new to Dubai - nice time of the year to meet new friends. Most people I know have gone home to UK to celebrate. Anyone fancy India Palace at Festival City or similar - pref not pricey?

They do a great buffet on a Thursday evening. My only concern is that I have absolutely no idea who you are.

I'm ready to go anywhere anytime... i got bored on Christmas, I spent it alone in my flat, drinking Taquila and using chat websites...
:)Let's go out door and have funny night with a group :)
I like to make friends...

Hoping that a few of us of mixed ages can turn up. Let's see if there's anymore interest.

I must say that I am forced to agree with you... we went there on Thursday and it was fantastic. An absolute bargain at 70dh including drinks.

We also saw a very good fireworks display over the marina while we ate.

Still, I would say it's better to go to an alcohol serving place - forum posters are a dull breed! I am planning on being in AD that night so it won't work out for me - have a nice evening!
