media sales opportunities

new to the board guys

just left spain after 7 years can anyone give me guidance re publishing houses in dubai, help greatly welcomed!!

Motivate are the up and coming publisher here in Dubai, with interests spreading along glossy mags to books.
For newspapers its Gulf News or Khaleej Times for spin, 7 days for a bit of shock/horror/scandal (which isn't really).

Magazines - Ahlan for fashion and 'ladies' interests. Time Out and Whats On for 'hip' happenings in Dubai, then a whole dearth of really uninteresting stuff that I don't think anyone reads.
