Default Marrying a British Citizen

Dears,

I'm getting married to a British Citizen in India and settling down with her in Dubai (I live here) . What is the procedure to ensure that I can live and work in the UK anytime, although I don't have any immediate plans of moving there, unless I get a very good job.

What is it that I have to do, just to ensure that I have a valid visa so that employers can contact me anytime and I could relocate without any hassle??

Regards

You could at least have said please and thank you. Honestly the manners of some folk today!

"Oh I am sorry that the result is not very good, may I please suggest you google it for yourself, thank you" How difficult was that and bound to get a better response. Especially on a website named Britishexpats where there are not likely to be many Johnny Foreigners who want to live in UK, because we're British with the right of abode.

Depends on your definition of "hassle", amongst other things; short answer: it's not that easy.

Long answer, start here : http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Spouse_Immigration-UK

Impossible. To even get ILR, you have to show a commitment to the UK , after proper residence of at least a year.
