I see Benzo's post on the other thread about them 'looking' Israeli.
Second glance -yeh I see what he's seeing but I hope to God it wasn't Mossad.To do this on Arab soil will cause outrage in the Arab world( not to mention what it'll do to the innocent kids of Gazza when both sides seek retribution.)The fundamental errors are not the hallmark of Mossad but an asu with that many operatives must be linked and sworn to a common purpose surely?A lone 'Carlos' could have carried this out.

I'm saying a lone assasin could have done this.Why so many players?
To have so many and each trusting the other the motive has to have been a common bond and bordering on fanaticisn -which accounts for their calm demeanor - so a classic terrorist group.Yes Mossad ...but why the errors??
An outside chance against the odds it wasn't them- but I guess I'm just fooling myself in the hope that the impending carnage will not happen.
Im saying it -not very clearly obviously but then that's a given.

The thing is that generally Mossad are as inept as most foreign intelligence services, what makes them slightly different is they are prepared to take risks and don't necessarily care who gets to hear about it. They won't publically admit it, but I doubt they will be overly concerned if it is pinned on them. It helps towards the deterrant nature of their actions.
Its not like they haven't done highly risky endeavours in the past that could so easily have gone wrong.
Remember this is the same organisation that orchestrated the attack on the PLO in Beirut when the operatives went in dressed as women. They also flew into Uganda to free the Israeli hostages that Idi Amin had taken with.
They also set up a hotel and dive centre in war torn Ethiopia so that they could build a secret airstrip close by and secretly smuggle out thousands of Ethiopian Jews. This ruse worked so well that when they decided the mission was over the European guests at the hotel woke up the next morning to an empty hotel with no staff.

The international investigation into the assassination of Mahmoud al Mabhouh last month is certain to examine the role played by Israel, where four of the victims of identity theft, three Britons and a German, currently live.
Some reports last night suggested that a team of 17 people were involved in the meticulously planned killing, of whom six have yet to be identified.
UK authorities issued the British passports used by the assassins in Dubai last month, official sources said. They confirmed the killers had not altered the names and numbers in the passports, but the photographs had been changed.
At least five of the Britons whose identities were used by the assassins in Dubai live in Israel. All deny any involvement.
