Loud bangs in Córdoba district of riyadh?

I just heard some VERY loud and scary bangs near to Córdoba and California compounds in north east Riyadh (near the airport road). Anyone know what this was? Don’t want to cause unnecessary alarm, so hopefully it was something innocent...

I slept through them, just like all of the previous times. From early news reports the Houthis have targeted four Saudi cities this time, and there has been the first death from their campaign - I suppose we can now call it their 'lethal campaign'. Unfortunately a Patriot missile malfunctioned and fell on an Egyptian household.

Read a few things saying that the patriot intercept missiles failed. Of course the Saudis will never admit that but there you go.

There are a number of "fake news" stories going around:- 1, The Yemeni missile hit killing someone. 2, The shrapnel from a Patriot missile hitting the Yemeni one killed someone on the ground. 3, The Patriot failed and crashed killing someone.

Sadly someone lost their life, or was it more than one? We'll never know.
