Hey everyone,

I’ve interviewed with Bapco in Bahrain, and was recently told that I got the job and will be receiving a formal job offer. The package is very good and I’m happy with it, however the job will require relocation to Bahrain. As a single guy in mid-30s I am wondering what life would be like... back home I like to play golf and go to gym, is this accessible to expats in Bahrain? How about things like socializing, entertainment and dating? Is it possible to meet single women (expats or locals)? Thanks very much!

More than 8 GBP, less than 40,000 GBP for a round.

From my time in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh - some few years ago used to play regularly Tuesday nights at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian 9-holer in a society called GONADs (Golfers of Night Abu Dhabi) - think it was about £25 per round. But to play on the championship courses at the weekends maybe £100 upwards.

Seem to remember there were lots of deals though - Entertainer voucher book. Not as many courses in Bahrain as UAE but it looks like there's now more than just Riffa/Royal GC as was the case 15 years back. Plus option to play under floodlights
