Hi all looking for some info on the compound accommodation in Riyadh. Looking at Instructors job at the National Guard School. I dont mind living in a compound just need to know what there is to do. Thanks

compounds in Riyadh are often full and pricey - especially because many demand a year's payment in advance. Will your company pay for the compound? If not, you will need a stack load of cash as a downpayment.

Either way, f you are not yet in the Kingdom, I would recommend not arranging anything until you arrive and can get around the city and see what's on offer. Stuff you might see online can differ considerably from reality and, because the cost is not trivial, it makes sense to be certain that you want to be spending that much money.

I am currently living in a compound and I'm looking for a new housemate to share with in September.

Sharing will save you some money, but it is still pricey. I'm living in Arabian homes compound which is one of the better ones and also has a great location.

If you only wanted to pay 6 months up front, that would be fine and potentially we can work out a monthly arrangment - just send me a PM.
