I am on holidays in the Philippines at the moment and so I don't have all that with me. Another friend also used them recently to move to Thailand.

Good luck with your relocation. I am hoping to be following on behind you and going back to the UAE in August. China has been great but I long for the warmer weather!

Hello, re the above post, here's a bit about me!

I am new to forums so bear with me while I get used to finding my way around!

I have just moved to Al Ain from the UK to be with my husband who has been working here for a few months. I am hoping to find some sort of admin work in Al Ain, and have begun applying, but presently have lots of leisure time and am just finding my feet!

I hope to meet some other expats at one of the coffee mornings and any other suggestions about where to meet up with people would be very welcome!

I am working my way through the Living in Al Ain posts which are very useful but am sure I will have some questions to ask in another post.

I moved to Al Ain with my Husband in January 2010. I have been working as Hairdresser in Germany for more then 7 years and I´m looking forward to continue dressing Hairs here in Al Ain. That would be me and Move One were excellent, I found out I needed packers on the Monday and they packed for us on the Thursday telling us that our shipment wouldnt reach us until after the new year. All our things arrived on 12th December and not one single things was broken or damaged. They even packed our little dish of tea. coffee, sugar which the Hilton Hotel supplied us with every day but dont tell them I would thoroughly recommend Move One

I'm worried about the China to Al Ain part rather than the other way around. But it sounds like a good organization. How much did they charge for your move to Thailand?
