I want to know best and low cost shopping places,dressing style in Bahrain,hotel,hospital facilities and culture in Bahrain.

For anything non food and non clothes related, the answer is manazel, it will always be manazel. Don't waste time looking elsewhere

No idea about clothes but loads of places to get made to measure

The ME has no culture to speak of but Bahrain has it's unique charm and the locals are friendly

Social dress. If you are going posh then it's posh, work should be professional with no tits showing, drunk night dress as you wish.

Embassy has some nice evenings if you are British and can get an invite.

Bahrain has bad drink drive culture, don't get sucked in. Also dont talk politics till you know what you're talking about. Beware the disloyals

Moving to Bahrain
 

Hi, my partner starts work in bahrain in June & my son & i will be joining him in July.
The office will be in the diplomatic area, ideally we would like to find a villa in a compound near by, I would be grateful if anyone could advise what towns would be close that have family friendly compound? Also any tips on agents to approach or links to any relevant letting agents? Thank you in advance.
