Lawyer in UAE complaint
So got fired illegally and started a case via labour courts.
6 months later monies more or less close to running out and case still hadnt even started.
Hired a lawyer and paid up, also did POA.
Another 5 months later and another 5000 dirhams paid for an expert I find out my lawyer did not attend meetings with the expert. Expert has written the report in favour of the company stating neither I or my lawyers came.
Called and emailed lawyer asking why they didnt inform me of meeting and why didnt they attend? Wont pick up phone or email back.
How does 1 file a complaint against a lawyer in the UAE? They've effectively taken payment and did nothing

How/why was she fired illegally?
UAE really doesn't have much in the way of employee rights. There's protection for salary payments and end of service gratuity and final salary calculations, but if a company wants to get rid of you you're likely out of luck.

There comes a time when you have to stop throwing good money after bad.
