Default Landline Telephone Hand sets

Hello, My husband and I have just discovered this site which is both amusing and definitely useful. We are moving to Dubai in January and have tons of questions but thought to start with the silliest - we have started to pack our things, will our BT Landline handset work in Dubai?

Default Re: Landline Telephone Hand sets

Etisalat the UAE main phone company always gave me a new phone hand set when ever I moved house and got a new phone number, I told them that I already had one or two but they insisted I accept the extra one, when I left they found a home in a cupboard under the sink, all 4 of them.
I wouldn't both bringing BT to Dubai.
