Default The Lakes Dubai advice.

Hi. I used to live in the Lakes about 8 years ago and now I'm moving back to DXB from Europe and would like to return there.

I had heard that now all properties are owned rather than rented from EMAAR. The agents are advertising 3 beds (ie: Zulal) at around 140k per year. What is the real price there for a 3 bed and can private deals be done without the leeches?

Advice from anyone living there would be much appreciated (maybe we already know each other)

In fact it's Ipswich Town. But living in Austria means getting to see about one game a year

Careful now I'm a big fan, he's working wonders at our club now that he's got rid of all the loafers and freeloaders.

I was a big fan when he was at Sunderland for a while , the trouble with Keano is that when it doesn't go his way he spits the dummy out.

He will get you promoted though but im afraid that's his limit . He has got the potential but the non-return valve between his brain and gob doesn't work very well.
He definitely brings something to the club though.

Just bumping this thread in case anyone can offer any advice with the original question about rental prices for 3 bds in the Lakes and the possibility of doing private deals.

8 years ago? goodness time flies. Private deals can be had but you need to be here. I see them on the notice board at Choithrams on the Lakes.

Many thanks Blue Cat. That was what I was hoping to hear. Can you give me any indication of the rental amounts for 3 beds in these private deals. I am trying to get an idea of what I should expect to pay and I am guessing that the agent advertised deals of around 140k are above the norm for private deals.

Ok thanks. I wonder why Lakes townhouses are so much more expensive than Springs. The buildings are the same layout and Springs is now well established too.

the Springs is awful! don't go there, massive highway right through the middle of it. The Lakes was always a better build, though they are getting shabby now

Budget is about 100-110k for 3 bed so Springs looks like best bet. From what I remember there is a highway but plenty of interconnected internal streets for the kids to play on and socialise too. They also have real working neighbourhood pools &c unlike places like Disco Gardens right?

a highway!! a six lane motorway right through it!! it is construction hell. I would go to the Ranches on that budget
