This is why i feel its very difficult to advise people on moving out here. Everycase is different

Put it this way I don't get homesick at all. This is my home at the end of the day and probably will be for a long time to come. I agree though for the millions that are happy here there are loads who come and go.

my mother has cleared off back to the UK, decided to get a divorce at 64 so to be quite honest with you, yes I would be happy if the pair of them cleared off!!!! Put it this way I don't get homesick at all. This is my home at the end of the day and probably will be for a long time to come. As a single bloke about to move to Dubai, I really don't know how to take this thread at all.
A recently divorced bloke complaining about to much female attention??? Guys making statements about it being easy to get laid as if thats a bad thing?

Whilst there are many pretentious shallow people, they can frequently been avoided - just go to a pub rather than a fancy bar.
Has the first poster thought about paying in cash, rather than flashing plastic?
