Got a position in Kuwait and I'm waiting on my visa being sent to me in the UK. Informed I need to present it to Kuwait Embassy along with passport for it to be stamped then I will need a medical to complete the process. Have tried to get clear info from my employers but i have to go through an agency, it's like trying to run on quicksand. Do i need to go in person to the Embassy (up in Scotland travel pain) or can I use agency in London. Also specified I need to use a medical practioner approved by Embassy which is fine, but would welcolme any recommendations

I cant remember which clinic there but they are all the one and same..

That looks like a good link - I remember my husband's medical taking weeks to clear when he had a medical at his own doctors mainly due to the Filiriasis part of the test which had to be dealt with by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and took ages to process.

The embassy told me not to bother with that test - so i didnt submit it and no questions were asked
