Kidnapped in Qatar!
 

10 year old son of dead Qatari and British mother kidnapped in Qatar then custody granted to 77 year old grandmother!

The family and friends are asking for support through the media, protests or whatever.

Any suggestions or comments?

I feel really sorry for this mother - I cannot imagine what she is going through. But the Qatari family will do everything in their power to keep her son to ensure he is raised Muslim and Arab - this is one of the reasons they have been given custody of the boy...they protested the idea that he would go to a British school.

I would suggest our womenfolk learn how Sharia law is very anti-woman and how they will be completely screwed in 90% of cases where inheritance and custody of kids are involved before they consider marrying into people whose cultures practice this 7th century misogynistic legal system.

As opposed to the legal system in the UK which is fair, unbiased and balanced in the favour of both parents?

Talking of inheritance, I am married to a muslim (non practising) and his sister looked horrified when I said that I was the sole beneficiary. She said something about in Islamic law the husbands family get the inheritance, not sure if that is right.

But we have just left our stuff to each other and noone else.

You are right about the boy, she has no chance of getting him back - poor child.
