Kandora and Baseball Caps
My new friend Mohammad wears my favorite baseball team's cap, Detroit Tigers with his Kandora, or I think also called a dis das. We got into a spirited debate about wearing a baseball cap with a kandora, I told him it looks funny, he claims I have no sense of style. I was trying to figure out why this looks so wrong, and I compared it to wearing a business style suit with a baseball cap. Mohammad and his family will be visiting us in the States this summer, I think they will have a great time. Anyway, have been making some great new friends since I have been here, too bad I have to be heading home soon :(

What's still a mystery to me is how they keep those kandoras sooooo dazzling white... MM, xx |
Re: Kandora and Baseball Caps
Erm - they bleach them.
The baseball cap is an expression of identity in a uniform culture. The problem is that when everyone does it, it then becomes an expression of uniformity. Same thing happens with Hong Kong teenagers. |

They're just pretty careful, do you have a problem keeping your white clothes white for one day?
