Job rules in Abu Dhabi

Does anyone know what the rules are for getting a job in Abu Dhabi.
I dont have a degree and wondered what the chances are of getting a job out here my hubby seems to think there will be no problem with this but i thought that I had to be under his sponsorship before I can do this?
He says I can get any job and if I dont like it can change and then he will sponsor me but hasnt got time to do this at the moment!

Hi, well... I think yes, it is possible for you to get a job and sponsorship of your own... but, the easiest way is for your husband to sponsor you...

Technically, wives sponsored by the husbands are not meant to be working... but your husband can give you a letter stating that he has no objections about you being employed... I believe they ask for such letter at the labor department... I am not sure... but I know that I had to get one for myself when I first came to AD...

I just came across a website with lots of jobs in the UAE... check it out ...

Good Luck!
