Hello all

I was wondering if anyone could advise where is a good place to buy some jewellery, inparticular a diamond ring.

I have heard online good things about these two places:

Blue Gem - in the Gold Souk
Shine - in the Gold Center (however I am not sure where this gold centre is)

Any thoughts very welcome on the above or on any other places.

We go to Caras in the gold and diamond park. Don't look at the ticket prices, just figure out what you want and ask for the best price. And then do it again. Owners are Kiran and anil.

Always been happy with what we have got and paid. Friends go there too.

They can also help you to design jewellery and you can see it being made.

I'm sure others will have other ideas.

Gold and Diamond Park great idea, but haggle mercilessly...don`t be embarrassed just go for it, you will be surprised what discounts you can get......try walking out that always gets a few more dizzers off!!

Easiest way to get there is to take the Metro (Jebel Ali Line) and get off at FGB Station, it is 5 mins walk from there
