I notice you've been here a while....well im with my misus but i dont want us to get seriously bored & take it out on each other, what good coupley things would you suggest & ive got the inlaws staying for 2 weeks from next week :curse: any suggestions ? Is there anywhere you can go bowling ????
-For the inlaws, take them on the Big Bad Bus Tour, then to Bastakiya, then an abra ride, then to the museum and the souks ( preferably from Museum head to Deira Naif Souk on the abra, a nice experience), then go to Al Hallab Resto in Al Garhoud for an authentic Lebo food...
-For bowling, there is the bowling place in Al Quoz, behind MOE,if I'm not mistaken...
-For the wife, give her 200 bucks, put her on a taxi, and all of a sudden Dubai will be paradise...

Alright,since you asked nicely, I'll give you some suggestions:

never wanted one due to the tax that you have to pay. We go to Baracuda to stock up 
and yes it's illegal etc but so are lots of things but it doesn't stop people doing it does it 
girlfriend! not a good idea unless she has a full time job to get her own visa
