'Islamic' beach?

'Islamic' beach?
Does anyone know of beach area in Dubai where strict Muslim's can go to the beach, away from bikinis etc?

Buhairah Corniche isn't a beach though, really... there is a bit further up the corniche towards Ajman which is still within Shj borders where you won't see much flesh.
Depends what your friends want... if it's for the sand beach the it's lovely - a family atmosphere with local and other Arab families, fully covered up, cooking and eating al fresco etc.
There's no lifeguards and i've heard there are dangerous currents (a whole family was lost some time last year) so swimming is probably not advisable)

it was a hilarious nightmare! the lifeguard was helpless. The next morning my pal's little lad had had a little bit too much sun the day before so we sent him into the pool in a fitted tee shirt to cover his shoulders. Jobsworth lifeguard was over in a shot to tell us no clothes allowed in pool - f*u*c*k off!
