Ireland for holiday
Know I havent been here in ages... but perhaps some of you still would know-
going to Ireland for a week in July. Any suggestions on what to do and see, and where to stay? (Except for the obvious visit to the Guinness factory that is!) |

Has great night life and great restaurants and a very European feel to the city. Listen to students busk in the street Clare - Aillwee Caves http://www.heritageisland.com/Aillwee%20Cave.asp Belfast is a beautiful city. I love Northern Ireland - visit the Giants Causeway, see http://www.discovernorthernireland.com/todo.aspx Cork Kerry (visit Dingle) Kiss the Blarney Stone!! For more info, have a look at http://www.ireland.ie/ It is easy to get around. There are lots of internal flights. The internal flights are really cheap and can save a log of leg work. But the best way to see the country is to hop in a car and drive. Parts of Dublin are good, but to be honest it is not the real Ireland anymore. I went to one of my fav coffee houses when I was home last and the waitress could barely speak English! I miss going into places and hearing an Irish accent. Enjoy it and bring a brolly  |
