Just a quick heads up if anyone has experienced severe slowdown on STC using a certain three letter acronym service of the burly variety ;)

I was using p**p/l**p service and noticed my normal full fat bandwidth using the service was strangled down to 0.3mbps even though with the service disconnected I was getting close to 10.0. After much trial and error with settings and changing servers and no improvement I had to change to the open service and it was back to almost normal again. Depending on your account, this may mean some extra costs, for the balance of my 1 year subs it was an additional ten bucks.

So if you are having problems, this might help.
