International Driving Permit IDP Saudi/Bahrain

International Driving Permit IDP Saudi/Bahrain
It is recomended (by the AA) that when in Bahrain your IDP, must be certified by the local authorities on arrival.
Any idea who would do this ( my company has a leased car for me) ?
Is there any restrictions on using my IDP and my UK driving licence in Bahrain/Saudi ?
At which point would i need to get a Bahrain/Saudi driving licence ?
any thoughts would help.

And if you want a Bahraini licence, you can get straight after you have your CPR. Many dont bother because of the historic relationship between bah and the uk
