International City, Dubai

International City, Dubai
Hi, I see the rents there are pretty low..., even cheaper than Discovery Gardens.
Can anyone tell me what it's like to live there, or whether they heard anything about the place maybe from someone they know who lives there.

Yes - it's called international sh.itty due to the proximity to the sewerage plant.
But I swear we never ever smell it where we are on the emirates road side and only smelt it twice when in lived in the central bit and even then never while inside the apartment. Apparently morocco or persia or somat on the other side cops the smell a fair bit.
I've sung the praises of this place often enough on here.
It's really not a bad place to live if all you want is a roof over your head and can do without the views etc that you pay another 3,000dhs a month to have and the gym that you pay another 2,000dhs a month to have.
Now that rents have come down a bit in dubai we wonder if it would be worth living a little more central and paying a bit more but no plans to move yet.
I been in this development for almost 2 years and no complaints....except for our landlord!

I stayed there for a little while as well, the only thing I can think of which I didn't like was that it is pretty far from everything and it gets expensive using taxi's, but further.. I totally agree with Jeeper.
