Default Insurance Jobs in Dubai - any advice??

Hello all,
First of all I apologise if you have answered these questions loads of time before....
I have worked in London as an Insurance Account Handler for 10 years and feel its time for a change. I would love to come and work in Dubai but haven’t come across many Insurance vacancies, all I can seem to find are basic administration roles that require a degree! I took GCSE's some 11 (cough cough) years ago and my grades weren’t that great. Do you think that my exam results will hinder my chances of getting a job out there even though I have 10 years Insurance experience? Does anybody know of any recruitment companies out there that specialise in Insurance placements?
Any help any of you have would really be appreciated.
Thanks
Rachel x

welcome Rach.

Most of this lot think O-levels were some new-fangled politically correct plot, so I wouldn't cough about being 27 (unless it's a smoker's cough)

From what I know of the local insurance job market, over 80% of staff even at managerial level are from the Indian subcontinent, presumably because they are perceived as representing better value for money. There are only a handful of Europeans around, although South Africans are now being recruited in greater numbers. I would look elsewhere if I were you.
