Default The insider scoop on Doha recruitment

Me thinks it maybe a time for a change and I have been having thoughts about moving to Doha. Obviously the first thing is to look at recruitment agencies / job market. I am sure there are some on the FAQ and could google a few but I'm also looking for feeback from people already there for any recommended / decent agencies to talk to....

So Malt and co already there any help would be much appreciated?

Hi welivehere,

I see you live in Dubai? What has made you choose Doha? Just being nosy as my hubby had choice of both places, and although we originally wanted Dubai, we now decided Doha. Although am finding accommodation very hard to come by.

Malt - Operations / supply chain / facilites management - That type of role, I have a telecoms / high-end FMCG background...

Rascal - A case of been there, done that with Dubai, I need a new challenge + too be honest the usual cost of living / traffic / too busy place that Dubai is heading towards.
Don't get me wrong I will be ok to stay and maybe the new challenge is here but if the chance came up for something new to try I would be willing to move as well....

Yeh I know what you mean, hubby feels the same after 4 years in NZ. There is NO challenge in NZ Construction, and has fancied the Middle East for ages.
We was offered a job in Dubai which had been our original plan then a Qatar position came up and it seemed more appealing. The company are Canadian PQS firm (please no Canadians come on and tell me they are crap!) he will be working for a Brit who is new also to the offices in Qatar and will be 2nd in command, hence the reason we chose Qatar over Dubai position.
I just hope it is the right choice.
Let me know how you get on if you find work in Doha etc.
My hubby leaves 15th June, and I will follow......eeerrr later!
