Info on Abu Dhabi F1 Tickets

Hi,

I have booked to go to ABU Dhabi Grand Prix in November however undecided about tickets for the actual event.

Tickets in the stands are costing nearly 500 GBP for three days however a lot of people have told me not to bother paying so much to literally see a glimpse of a car zoom past and after 20 minutes I would be bored.

I have looked at the Abu Dhabi Hill General Admission tickets, has anyone been to the Grand Prix on these tickets. Are they ok with a view of the circuit to watch the race and can you purchase food and drink (alcohol too)?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

I've been to South Stand, Marina Stand, West Stand and Abu Dhabi Hill over the years. Personally I found the view from the hill great and you can move around rather than being stuck in a seat. Downside is you are sitting on the ground. Obviously the time I went to the hill is the only time I actually had to pay for a ticket

Food and drink is available. Alcohol is only available in certain designated bar areas from which you cannot see any of the race. The exception is the paddock which costs a lot (unless you are one of the lucky ones to get the tickets for free)...
