Dear all,
still looking for a school for my daughter, aged 8, for year 2014-2015.

Any of you has ever heard of a new school named SEK International School?this is their website, they opened last year in Doha.

we applied to 6 schools: DBS e ISL said no, and no response from other schools, included SEK. For SEK, we had to fly to Barcelona (The nearest place for us) for an assessment.

I fear that we have to renounce to come to Qatar, due to the fact that we are not finding a place at school for our daughter. :(

My husband employer is Qatar Foundation, that does not sponsor schools (I could not believe it!) and so we are in this situation :-((

wow…well i have been offered a position in doha and have 2 kids, 8 and 2 years old…i didnt think it would be such a problem with the school…
