husband sponsorship?
Looks like would have to get married in order for myself and long term partner to move to UAE next year (thanks for all info recieved). Can a wife sponsor a husband as I would be the employed one he would be looking for work once out there? Thanks in advance, Julie

As a teacher - yes. You can easily sponsor your husband, provided your monthly income is over AED 4,000, which I am sure it is

Thanks so females arnt a complete wash out over there then, puts my mind at rest, he can be a kept man for a while! Julie

But you need at least AED30,000 to do so.
