I have been offered a job in Dubai to start in a month, but i need to know if my offer is any good.

I have been offered 13750 Dhs a month. Is this any good?

Where could i live for this? I have been out there before, but not since 2002, and i stayed at Golden sands then so know the lower scale.

Please help as they want an answer by Friday

Your salary seems to be fine. Are you coming down with a family or by yourself? Which part of Dubai is the company you are going to be working for?

On my own, but I want my long term girlfriend to join me as soon as possible. Her job crudentials are excellent, so I think she could quite easily get a job. My worry is for her, how long she can stay with me to look for a job before she needs to leave (visa issue).

The company is based in Karama. Having been there before, I only know Karama as the place where you used to be able to get fake stuff really cheap

Well you cant sponsor your girlfriend, I think, which means that she can come for a visit visa and would then have to leave after a month or two.

Well it is funny to hear that a company in Karama would be offering you all that. So is that the full amount or are they paying you additional for housing? Well you should be able to find something for your budget in Karama if your lucky.
