How to get Saudi police report?

Do I just go to a local police station in Saudi & they will print off their police report?

People who wish to immigrate to, say, another country often need a police report about themself.

I thought that's what you meant but I wasn't sure so that's why I asked.

The last time I did this was six years ago now when I was changing jobs and had to go back to the UK to start the visa process all over again.

As things stood then, first you need to get a letter from your company I think that states you've worked there for x amount of time etc. Can't remember exactly but I've got a feeling that letter then gets stamped at the chamber of commerce for 20 SAR.

You then need to get a stamp from the British embassy, around 300 SAR I think.

Then take this and a couple of photos to one particular police station. In Riyadh it is near Musmak, Chop Chop Square. They take you docs and photos, fingerprint you. And you get the paper after 3 days having to go back to the same place with your receipt. Costs 50 SAR if memory serves me right.

It is quite busy there with a lot of Indians, Pakistani etc but quite quick moving. Should be done in 30 mins.

I'd suggest going with an Arabic speaker as it might be confusing otherwise.

That's how it was 6 years ago anyway.
